"Available to sell" isn't a stock count.
It's what's on the shelf, plus what you could still assemble right now — and exactly which component is stopping you from assembling more.
The math, in plain terms
A blank's availability is what's on hand minus what's already reserved by orders in processing. A finished product's availability is the smallest of what each of its components can still support, plus any of that finished item already sitting on the shelf. Bobbin always names the specific component that's capping you — not just the number.
Demand-aware reservations
Confirmed orders draw down finished-item stock first, then the shared blank pool — so two customers are never promised the same last shirt. Components already picked for a build in progress aren't double-counted as still available. Incoming purchase orders are tracked and visible, but deliberately kept out of what's shown as sellable until they've actually arrived.
Recalculates instantly, syncs deliberately
The moment a real order lands, stock moves, or a BOM changes, buildability is recalculated. What gets pushed to your storefront is batched into a nightly update instead — steady and predictable rather than firing hundreds of small changes a day — with an on-demand "push now" for anyone who doesn't want to wait. A morning job then spot-checks what your other country storefronts are actually showing against what was pushed, and flags anything that's drifted.
An answer, not just a number
A live "why is this the number it is" view exists for admins — on-hand, what's reserved and by which orders, the full BOM math, and the bottleneck — for the rare moment someone needs to double-check a figure by hand.
