Each pick task asks for one specific item — a finished piece already on the shelf, or a blank to build from. Scan it, see what the system actually resolved, confirm, and it's recorded. A mismatch is rejected on the spot — no accidental substitutions.

From batched orders to a finished, produced garment.
Planning
Orders ready for the floor are batched into a plan per store. Bobbin automatically works out, per order line, what can be pulled straight from finished-item shelf stock versus what needs assembling from blanks. Once a plan is created, its component breakdown is locked in — a later catalog change doesn't retroactively disturb work already queued.
Picking
Pick tasks are batched across the whole plan and ordered for an efficient walk — by product, then color, then size — instead of one order at a time. Stock leaves inventory the instant a pick is confirmed. If something's physically missing, it's reported short on the spot, which flags the order on the storefront rather than leaving it silently stuck.
Production
One production order per customer order. An operator claims it — a real server-side lock, so two people can't work the same order — and it releases automatically if left untouched, or a supervisor can free it immediately. Marking it produced is a deliberate, attributable action tied to that operator and timestamped.
Know who did what
A productivity view per person — orders and units produced, picks and units completed, today / yesterday / this month / last month — refreshing automatically, filterable by store.
The production board
One live view of every order in flight — pick status, production status, who's claimed what, current storefront status — color-coded so a manager can see the whole floor's state at a glance.
Print plan — a separate worklist
As soon as an order is ready, the print floor sees exactly how many units are already covered by stock and how many still need to be printed. Operators check items off as printed, individually or in bulk, and the queue cleans itself up as orders move on.
It keeps itself honest overnight
Produced orders are automatically marked complete on the storefront every night. Leftover tasks on orders that were cancelled or already finished elsewhere get cleaned up automatically — nobody has to remember to reconcile any of it by hand.
